THE MARKETING BRAIN BEHIND HORIZONS ✦
I built the kind of marketing support I kept seeing small businesses miss.
Hey, I’m Kaely — founder of Horizons Marketing Co. and a former Director of Marketing.
I started Horizons because I saw a gap between having someone make your marketing and having someone actually think about your marketing.
Small businesses deserved both.
I knew what it looked like when someone actually owned the marketing.
Before Horizons, I worked as a Director of Marketing for a small business.
And my job wasn't just social media.
I was thinking about the website. Campaigns. Content. Print. Promotions. Messaging. New ideas. What customers were responding to. What the business needed next.
I got to look at the whole picture — and then actually help make it happen.
But I kept seeing other small businesses stuck with two very different options.
Hire someone to manage one piece of the marketing.
Or...
Pay someone thousands of dollars to tell them what they should be doing — and then leave them to actually do it.
There wasn't much in between.
So I built the in-between.
THE MARKETING PARTNER
Strategy without execution is just a really expensive to-do list.
I didn't want Horizons to be another agency that fills a content calendar.
And I didn't want to hand business owners a strategy deck and say, “Good luck!”
I wanted to bring the two together.
Someone who can think like your marketing director — and still roll up their sleeves and help get the work done.
That's what I mean when I say I become your Marketing Partner.
WHAT I'M PROBABLY THINKING ABOUT...
I'm naturally the person who wants to pull the whole thing apart, figure out how the pieces connect and find the opportunity everyone else walked past.
That's pretty much what you get when you hire me.
Marketing brain. Actual human.
I'm based in Beavercreek, Ohio, working with businesses locally and well beyond it.
When I'm not thinking about somebody's marketing, I'm usually with my family, rearranging something in my house, buying another plant I absolutely have room for, or staying up way too late reading a book.
I believe marketing can be smart without sounding corporate, strategic without being boring, and professional without losing the personality that made people care about your business in the first place.
ENOUGH ABOUT ME.
Let's talk about your business.
If you've been thinking, “I know I should be doing more with my marketing...”
I have a feeling we'll have plenty to talk about.
